For Alyssa Anne Photography we designed a unique website to showcase the photographer’s work and style.
The site features rotating photos on the home page, and a custom photo gallery. The photographer updates the photos on the home page and gallery herself, using our content management tools. This way she can always display her latest work on the site. Additionally, we implemented a system where private customer slideshows can be created as needed to show clients a preview of their new photos.
The slideshows make use of Adobe Flash for a rich user experience, and an alternative version of the slideshows loads on the Apple iPhone and iPad. When clients receive a link to their own private slideshow, they can view their photos in a web browser or directly on their smartphone.
When clients are ready to purchase prints of their photos they order online through an ecommerce system that is uniquely designed for photographers.
Design Regeneration implemented the following technologies for Alyssa Anne Photography:
- Website visual design and code in XHTML 1.0 Strict, and CSS
- Adobe Flash image slideshows with HTML 5 fallback for Apple devices
- Photo content management system for updating slideshows
- System for deploying client preview slideshows
- Ecommerce system for ordering prints
